Trumpet Vine or Trumpet Creeper
This picture was taken near the Grand River in Brantford in July 2007. Apparently this plant can grow wild but this one was growing over the fence in someone's backyard. The Trumpet Vine provides food for the Hummingbirds. (2816 X 2112)
Trumpet vine
Trumpet vine flowers and leaves. This was taken in southern Michigan. The same, or a very similar, plant is found in South Carolina, and something a lot like this is also found in California (and, no doubt, in many places between!).
